Abi El Attaoui

Ceresio 7

Via Ceresio 7, Milano

Leaving a small town in Morocco, where he was born in 1992, Abi (Abdelfataha) El Attaoui moved to Italy at the age of five, where he found a way to nurture his passions. Initially, he pursued studies as a surveyor, allowing him to explore his interests in architecture, design, and fashion. However, it was the food & beverage world that ultimately captivated him for life.

He began working in small bistros before quickly moving into prestigious establishments such as 10 Corso Como, Hermitage, Bulgari, and Armani. The hospitality industry became the ideal setting for his professional growth and a place where he could refine his expertise in the bar industry.

In 2013, the year Ceresio7 opened, El Attaoui was part of the founding team. As the venue and its American Bar grew in prominence, so did his role. From working as a chef de rang in the restaurant, he became a barman in 2015, head bartender in 2017, and by 2021, he took over as bar manager.

Under his leadership, Ceresio7 achieved several prestigious accolades:

  • 2021/2022: Ranked among the Top 10 Best Restaurant Bars in Europe by Tales of the Cocktail.
  • 2021: Included in the 50 Best Discovery list.
  • 2021 & 2023: Won "Best Bar Team" at the Bar Awards.
  • 2021 & 2023: Ranked among the Top 100 cocktail bars worldwide in the Top 500 Best Bars ranking.

El Attaoui continues to shape Ceresio7’s bar program, blending elegance, innovation, and a deep understanding of mixology.
